Greendale Construction bid a fond farewell to PA Chrissie Barker who retires after 20 years with the company
Greendale Construction has bid a fond farewell to Chrissie Barker, PA to the Directors and Health & Safety Coordinator, who has retired after 20 years with the Dorset based chartered builders. After joining the Greendale team in 2000, Chrissie obtained a degree in business studies as well as an IOSH Managing Safely in Construction.
Rob Hooker, Director, commented: “Chrissie has been a fantastic PA over the last 20 years. Everyone at Greendale has enjoyed working with her and appreciated her professionalism, intelligence and enthusiasm for the complex roles she undertook as the business developed and grew. When Chrissie started with us in 2000, we had just 5 employees working in the office. Now Greendale employs 20 office-based staff here at Generator House, as well as over 55 employees and across the Greendale sites in Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and beyond!
“Chrissie was always helpful, positive and understanding of situations - a rare quality, and one that has helped our company prosper. She built strong business relationships with our staff, clients and colleagues, and I know we will all miss having Chrissie around, but we wish her every happiness in her retirement and hope she now gets the time to do all those things on her bucket list!”
